They must be received by 2:30 pm,Friday, February 20, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Please allow sufficient time for uploading of documents. The bid opening will be electronic, all submitted bids will be viewable by the public via OpenGov immediately after bid close time.

Originally designed by Julia Morgan, the ACBH pool is historically designated and has remaining features of the original Marion Davies Estate. The historic swimming pool and surrounding marble fascia, gutter, and deck paving will be replaced in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, thus allowing the historic integrity of these elements to be preserved while continuing to serve as a public recreation amenity. The Santa Monica Landmarks Commission has approved pool tile replacement project per Statement of Official Action 19ENT-0467 in 1/13/2020, and implementation is phased to align with available funds. In 2020, Phase 1 was completed, which partially replaced the most damaged marble tiles. Phase 2 will replace marble tiles not captured in Phase 1, in addition to cleaning, resetting, re-grouting, and sealing all marble surfaces.
