Summary

Provide Lagging/Insulation Services for the McKay Bay Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility located at 107 North 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605. In addition, Contractor may be asked to perform miscellaneous repairs agreed upon by the City representative and Contractor.

Full description

Historically, based on annual tonnage of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) received at the City of Tampa McKay Bay (WTE) Facility, the Facility conducts eight (8) scheduled maintenance-related outages per calendar year, of which one will be a Cold Iron outage. A routine scheduled outage is normally a period of 7 days when the boiler is taken off-line Saturday for operational cleaning to get the boiler ready for the contractors starting on Monday morning at 7 am.
