The City of Waxahachie operates three water and wastewater treatment plants and a network of lift stations that serve a growing population and expanding commercial base. As part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability, the City is seeking a qualified vendor to manage the removal, dewatering, transport, and disposal of sludge, biosolids, grit, and debris across its treatment infrastructure.This project encompasses a wide range of services—from routine lagoon cleaning and solids removal to emergency vac-truck response and inter-facility sludge transfer. The scope includes work at the Howard Road Water Treatment Plant, Howard Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, Robert W. Sokoll Water Treatment Plant, and multiple lift stations throughout the City. Materials must be disposed of at a TCEQ-approved facility, and all work must be performed in accordance with applicable environmental and safety regulations.The City is looking for a vendor who can deliver more than just equipment and labor. Success on this contract means proactive coordination, minimal disruption to plant operations, accurate documentation, and scalable solutions that adapt to seasonal demands and emergency conditions. A vendor who brings mobile dewatering capabilities, responsive service, and a clear understanding of municipal infrastructure will be well-positioned to support Waxahachie’s long-term water quality and system resilience goals.
