Summary
The City's goal is to contract with a qualified individual or firm to provide an Equity Audit.The City seeks a consultant to engage in a comprehensive, organization-wide equity audit, that will culminate in a report with recommendations based on observations of internal policies and communications, external communications, and organizational practices as they pertain to goals of racial equity and are aligned with the City of Wheat Ridge’s organizational values. The recommended strategy will help the City continue building a culture of belonging and embed inclusive policies and practices into our daily culture and operations. Additionally, the consultant will assist the City in developing a shared understanding of these values and the development guiding principles for action.

The City of Wheat Ridge (the “City”) Municipal Building is located in the northwest Denver metropolitan area, with municipal offices at 7500 W 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. The City’s area consists of about nine square miles of rolling land adjacent to the Interstate 70 transportation corridor between Denver and the Rocky Mountains. The City is a suburban community of approximately 33,000 residents and contains approximately 500 employee across six departments: Police, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Administrative Services, Community Development, the City Manager's Office, and General Government (which includes Clerk and Court).
