Full description
The Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program supports evidence-based home visiting services to improve maternal and child health, prevent child abuse and neglect, encourage positive parenting, and promote child development and school readiness. Through this procurement process, we aim to identify vendors with the capacity to deliver high-quality, data-driven home visiting services that meet the needs of diverse families in our community.Over the past several years, our state has made significant progress in expanding home visiting services to underserved areas and high-risk populations. However, persistent challenges remain, including workforce recruitment and retention, ensuring fidelity to evidence-based models, and closing gaps in service delivery for rural and linguistically diverse populations. What would make this project truly successful is the ability to partner with a vendor who not only brings experience with MIECHV or similar federally funded home visiting programs, but also demonstrates cultural competence, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. The selected vendor should be prepared to collaborate closely with state agencies and local service providers, support robust data collection and performance measurement, and ensure services are responsive to the needs of the families served. The partner is a critical step in advancing our mission to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families through targeted, high-impact home visiting services.
