Summary
The County of Greenville is soliciting proposals from vendors to provide pool chemicals and maintenance services for twelve county owned pools/water features, with separate chemical and filtration needs. The County's Commercial Pool Facilities include three waterparks, one indoor Aquatic Complex and one Therapeutics Pool.The County desires to enter into a one year contract with the possibility of four Annual Renewals, with a source capable of providing the chemicals and services specified. The contract to provide Pool Chemicals and Maintenance Service for all Greenville County pools and water features, will commence on July 1, 2026.
Full description
The County is seeking sealed proposals from vendors to furnish pool chemicals and maintenance services for pools located throughout Greenville County. Additionally, the contractor must have the ability to repair and service all pool equipment specified, on an As-Needed Basis: equipment includes: chlorinators, UV systems, Ph controls, Pool automation systems, filter, etc.The County desires to enter into a Contract with one source to furnish all materials, equipment, machinery, tools, apparatus, means of transportation, licenses (if applicable), and labor necessary to provide all products and services, in accordance with the specifications contained herein.A. Contractor shall provide all chemicals for County pools; all products specified must be compatible with the County's existing chlorinators and equipment, per NSF guidelines.1. If Contractor desires to replace the specific equipment and/or chemicals with comparable, commercial grade chlorinators, equipment, and /or chemicals, all alternates must be replaced in accordance with NSF guidelines; evidence must be provided to show that all alternates proposed meet or exceed existing product and equipment specifications.2. If pool chlorinators or equipment is replaced; the contractor shall provide training for County staff.3. The Contractor shall be responsible for all conversion costs, including labor, fittings, adapters, calibration, and training necessary to integrate accepted alternate chemicals or equipment with the County's existing systems. Capital equipment purchases, if required, shall be negotiated separately.B. Contractor shall be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to all chemical, filtration, pump and pool systems specified, on an As-Needed Basis.C. Contractor shall have the ability to train all aquatic managers and operators.D. Contractor shall complete deliveries in accordance with a set, agreed-upon schedule.E. Contractor shall process billing promptly, and submit invoices within a timely manner.F. Contractor shall provide Routine Maintenance Services at all facilities during Normal Business Hours (7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday).G. Contractor shall respond to all Emergency Requests within Twenty-Four (24) Hours upon receipt of request.H. Contractor shall obtain authorization from the County prior to completing any repairs, based on the Hourly Rates/ Unit prices for labor and materials cost mark-up, specified on the pricing sheet.I. Contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations regarding licenses, permits, and certifications.
