Lancaster County Airport On-Call Engineering Services

Lancaster County, South Carolina (the County), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide airport engineering and related professional services on an on-call, as-needed basis. The selected firm(s) shall possess demonstrated experience in the preparation of planning and design documents, construction plans and specifications, and a record of delivering projects that have been successfully implemented.This solicitation is not issued for specific projects but for the provision of professional services to be performed as authorized during the term of the contract. Services shall be performed on an on-call basis in accordance with purchase orders issued by the County.The initial contract term is anticipated to be one (1) year from the date of firm selection, with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one-year periods, subject to County approval, satisfactory performance, and availability of funding. The County makes no guarantee as to the amount of work or the total dollar value of services contracted under this solicitation.

Lancaster County, South Carolina (the County), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide airport engineering and related professional services on an on-call, as-needed basis. The selected firm(s) shall possess demonstrated experience in the preparation of planning and design documents, construction plans and specifications, and a record of delivering projects that have been successfully implemented.This solicitation is not issued for specific projects but for the provision of professional services to be performed as authorized during the term of the contract. The County makes no guarantee as to the amount of work or the total dollar value of services contracted under this solicitation.Lancaster County anticipates that capital improvement and operational support projects over the next five (5) years may include, but are not limited to, the following services: preparation of environmental assessments and related documentation; grading and site development plans; storm water and drainage analysis and design; preparation of plans and specifications for the paving and rehabilitation of airfield runways, taxiways, aprons, and perimeter and access roadways; architectural and engineering design and construction administration for hangar and terminal facilities; design and construction administration for airfield lighting systems and navigational aids; land acquisition support services; and other related professional engineering services as required.The selected firm(s) shall demonstrate knowledge of, and experience with, applicable federal and state grant programs, including compliance requirements associated with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and South Carolina Department of Aeronautics (SCDOA) aeronautical funding programs.
