PROJECT OVERVIEWThe project will create a tiny home village offering homeownership opportunities for qualified individuals focusing on those at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). The development will include a minimum of 20 tiny home units on approximately 6.7 acres of donated property, with space dedicated for a future community park. The project will serve the following target populations: Veterans; seniors; and, workforce housing candidates.Property Description: 10 parcels totaling approximately 6.7 acresWooded property requiring site preparationBoundaries: Bennett Ave, S Carpenter Ave & Central AveLocation: Orange City, Florida 32763Estimated property value: $684,000The property was purchased with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and will be donated for the development of this project. A completed legal description and survey are attached to this RFP.AVAILABLE FUNDINGHOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds in the estimated amount of $800,000 is available for the development of units serving households at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). The maximum subsidy per HOME unit is $75,000.
