Virginia Primrose Elementary, built in 1980, has three permanent buildings and eighteen portable classrooms that require painting, using district-approved colors. All of the schools’ permanent buildings are block wall construction and the exterior painting is limited to doors, windows, awnings, and metal flashing. Additionally, there is one 40-foot metal storage container and two metal lunch shelters on the South side of the school property are included on the bid. Alder Middle School, built in 1960, has fifteen permanent buildings and seventeen portable classrooms that require exterior painting, using district-approved colors. Additionally, several 40-foot metal storage containers on the school property are included in the bid. Fontana Middle School, built in 1928, is among the district’s oldest schools and has ten permanent buildings and seven portable buildings that require exterior painting in specific district-approved colors. Additionally, there are several 40-foot metal containers and two storge sheds that are included in the bid.
