Summary

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to enter into a contract with a qualified Certified Public Accountant to conduct an annual audit of financial transactions and accounts kept by or for the District, subject to the Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) for the (5) years ending June 30, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, and to complete the Uniform System of Financial Records for Arizona School Districts (USFR) Compliance Questionnaire (CQ). The District reserves the right to suspend the provisions of the contract for any year in which the District expends less than the qualifying number of federal awards set forth in the Uniform Guidance

The Pendergast Elementary School District proudly serves approximately 7,950 students from preschool through eighth grade across 12 campuses, covering 20 square miles in the communities of Phoenix, Glendale, and Avondale, Arizona. The district’s boundaries extend from Glendale Avenue to the north, I-10 to the south, 83rd Avenue to the east, and the Agua Fria River to the west. As a majority-minority Title I district, Pendergast is committed to providing innovative and equitable educational opportunities to foster student success.
