Summary
BFT is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish contracts with one or more qualified temporary staffing firms to provide temporary staffing and recruitment services on an as-needed basis. Services may support a wide range of positions including, but not limited to, technical, accounting, administrative, clerical, data entry, and project-based roles.
Full description
BFT is a municipal corporation that has provided public transportation services since 1981 within a 618-square-mile service area located in Benton and Franklin counties. This area includes the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, Benton City, Prosser, and Finley, serving a population of approximately 228,992 residents.BFT experiences fluctuating staffing needs throughout the year due to:Immediate short-term assignmentsSpecialized skill requirements not readily available through regular recruiting processTemporary backfill for vacant or project-assigned positionsAssist with clerical functions in short-staffed departmentsDuring the previous 12-month period, BFT expended approximately $300,000 on temporary staffing services.
