NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT SOLANO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, is inviting all interested licensed contractors to submit their company for inclusion on the County’s Informal Bidding Contractors’ List for calendar year 2026.
Full description
On October 8, 2013, the Solano County Board of Supervisors adopted a Resolution establishing the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) and Informal Bidding Procedures as administered under the State Controller’s Office. The Informal Bidding Procedures allow the County to create a list of qualified bidders by January 1st of each year for public construction projects. Contractors wishing to be added to, dropped from, and/or update information to the County’s current qualified bidders’ list need to submit a request. Current information will otherwise be carried forward on the list for 2026.Contractors that have registered on the County’s Informal Bidders’ List will be notified of County public construction projects valued at less than $220,000. Project notification will include a general project description, location where to obtain more detailed information, and the time and place of bid submission at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the submission deadline and bid opening.Contractors who are interested in being on Solano County’s Informal Bidders’ List are required to have a current license, to be listed with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in accordance with Senate Bill 854, and subject to verification through the Contractors State Licensing Board and DIR.
