Payson Municipal Airport is a vital general aviation facility serving the Town of Payson and the surrounding region, supporting a wide range of users including private pilots, business travelers, emergency services, and recreational aviation. In recent years, the airport has experienced consistent growth in based aircraft and aviation activity, creating an increased demand for modern, secure, and reliable aircraft storage facilities. The airport’s current hangar inventory is at or near capacity, prompting the need for additional development to meet user demand and maintain efficient operations.As part of its long-term planning efforts, the Town of Payson has identified designated areas within the Airport Layout Plan (ALP) for future hangar expansion. The development of new hangar facilities within these buildable areas represents a critical step in supporting the airport’s continued growth, enhancing service capabilities, and advancing the community’s economic development goals. This RFO seeks qualified partners who can help deliver high-quality infrastructure that aligns with the airport’s strategic vision and future operational needs.
