Summary

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD (the "WSSC"), is soliciting sealed responses for Detectable Tape. Responses are to be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater PRIOR TO 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted.WSSC seeks to find a firm to provide Detectable Tape, which shall be used to identify and protect existing WSSC's water and sewer pipelines.

Full description

WSSC maintains over 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. Over the past two years, WSSC has required twenty-two hundred (2,200) rolls of detectable tape in varying sizes in order to identify WSSC's pipe infrastructure.
