Summary
The City of Clermont Police Department intends to procure fifteen (15) new, current-production handheld, all-in-one RapidID devices and associated server/device manager software that are certified/approved for use with the FDLE FALCON RapidID system. The devices must enable officers to capture a fingerprint in the field, securely submit a RapidID transaction to FDLE via the City’s RapidID server, and receive the response directly on the handheld, without being tied to a single PC. The solution shall support multi-user secure authentication (including CJIS-aligned two-factor authentication), provide centralized device and user management with audit logging, and include delivery and configuration assistance sufficient to place the devices into operational service.
