Full description
In 2015/2016, the City constructed a Tactical Training Center (“Tac Center”) for the Police Department. The facility is regularly used by City police officers as well as public safety personnel from neighboring jurisdictions.To support evolving training methodologies and accommodate increased demand, the City has identified the need to expand the existing Tac Center. The current fiscal year budget includes $8 million for the project, of which approximately $6 million is allocated for the design and construction of the expansion.The City seeks a qualified design-build contractor to design and construct an approximately 13,500-square-foot expansion of the existing Tactical Training Center, located at 10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The expansion will include three new training rooms, exercise gym, storage, and restrooms. Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience, sufficient resources, and the ability to complete the project within the approved schedule and budget.
