Summary

To support the residential curbside collection operation, the city is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide refuse, recycling, and green organics containers and related services, in accordance with the specifications below. To include the supply and transportation of multiple color and size containers, including full unit warranty replacement containers, for fully automated collection systems per the schedule provided by the city on an as-needed basis for a (3) year period with two (2) one-year extensions commencing on or about July 1, 2026.

The City of Phoenix Solid Waste Services Division is part of the Public Works Department and is responsible for the safe and efficient collection of residential solid waste for more than 422,000 single-family residences. Collection services include residential curbside collection of refuse (black cans), recyclables (blue can), and in eligible parts of the city, green organics (tan cans) colors are subject to change during contract term. The city has an ambitious commitment to ensure the City’s sustainability, which includes a goal of zero-waste by 2050.
