The City of White House, TN (City), is seeking proposals for Executive Recruitment Services for the City Administrator position.The Request for Proposals documents are available through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/whitehousetn , or may be obtained via email at Purchasing@whitehousetn.gov or picked up at the Billy S Hobbs Municipal Cener, 3rd Floor, 105 D College Street, White House, TN 37188 Monday through Thursday 7:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.Proposals must be submitted in the format specified in the Request for Proposals. All proposals will be due on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 3:00 pm local time.Questions concerning the Request for Proposals should be submitted through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/whitehousetn.Verbal submitted quotations will not be accepted. The City of White House reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a proposal, and to accept any proposal, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City.

White House has a history of stability in the City Administrator position with only three administrators over the past 24 years. The current City Administrator is retiring in mid-2026 after having served 14 years as administrator and 4 years as the Chief of Police. The City of White House wishes to retain the services of a professional executive search firm to assist it in recruiting candidates for consideration for this position. The City of White House is in middle Tennessee in both Robertson and Sumner Counties, approximately 22 miles north of Nashville. Since the mid-1990's Middle Tennessee has been the top growth area of the state, and one of the top growth areas in the country. The City of White House currently occupies a land area of 11.2 square miles and has a resident population of approximately 19,000.
