Summary
The purpose of the RFP is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of professional clinical services. The Santa Fe Municipal DUI/Drug Court Program provides services to DUI offenders that are supervised under the DUI compliance program as part of the offender's judgement and sentence. Qualified and licensed service providers will conduct diagnostic and comprehensive clinical assessments for offenders referred to the program. Based on the information obtained through the assessment, the service provider will develop a treatment plan and provide a diagnostic statement summarizing the client's needs and treatment recommendations. The diagnostic statements will be shared with the sentencing court and DUI/Drug court team. To establish a definitive modality relating to mental disorders, criminal history or deviant personality traits, assessment tools will be utilized. The service provider will work closely with the DUI/Drug court team to recommend the type of intervention and treatment plan necessary for the individual once evaluations are complete. They will adhere to all requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and maintain all client confidentiality. The service provider will also participate in a team management approach to patient treatment planning. Santa Fe Municipal Court is soliciting proposals from qualified and licensed service providers to conduct diagnostic and comprehensive clinical assessments for DUI offenders referred to the Santa Fe Municipal Court DUI/Drug Court Program.
Full description
The DUI/Drug Court program is the Santa Fe Municipal Court’s treatment court. The goal of the program is to promote community safety, reduce recidivism and substance abuse amongst offenders. It is a minimum six-month program designed for individuals who suffer from substance abuse or addiction. The DUI/Drug Court is a comprehensive supervised treatment program for alcohol and drug-dependent individuals. The program is divided into three active phases. It is designed in such a way that as progress is made regarding substance abuse issues, the participant can move from a highly supervised treatment program in Phase One, to a less intensive treatment program in Phase Three. The progress and participation are evaluated weekly and the participant will either advance or be retained by one week. This progress is also reviewed at each court hearing, first with members of the DUI/Drug Court team, then in the courtroom with the participant.
