General work description:The Project includes renovation of the interior of an existing park restroom building and limited exterior improvements. The scope generally includes, but is not limited to:Demolition and removal of existing interior finishes, fixtures, and accessoriesInstallation of new ADA-compliant and standard restroom stallsInstallation of new epoxy flooring with integral coved baseInstallation of new FRP wall panelsReplacement of plumbing fixtures with vandal-resistant fixturesInstallation of new ADA-compliant lavatories, toilets, urinals, and mop basinModernization and replacement of restroom ventilation systems, including increased-capacity active ventilation and enhanced passive ventilationElectrical upgrades to support new fixtures, lighting, ventilation, and no-touch amenities where feasibleInstallation of a new exterior ADA-compliant drinking fountain with bottle fillerAssociated plumbing, mechanical, and electrical workAll incidental work required to complete the Project as shown in the plans, specifications and contract documentsContractor will be responsible for site security and safety through the duration of the projectThe Work shall be performed in accordance with the City-approved plans and specifications prepared by Dreiling Terrones Architecture, dated November 2025, and all applicable codes.This project is funded partially by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and as such is subject to:California Prevailing Wage Law (Labor Code Sections 1720–1861) General prevailing wage determinations: 2025-2 journeyman determinations Federal Davis-Bacon Act requirements due to CDBG-CV funding
